Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals Announces Partnership with Securian Canada

The Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals (CABIP) is proud to announce our partnership with Securian Canada – a leading insurance provider of innovative, life-ready insurance solutions in Canada for over 65 years.

Through this sponsorship, CABIP and Securian Canada will bring together insurance professionals to create meaningful and collaborative support networks through events, mentorship programs, skill development opportunities and advocacy work.

“Supporting CABIP is not just a commitment to driving diversity, equity and inclusion, it’s an investment in shaping a stronger future for the Canadian insurance industry,” said Nigel Branker, Chief Executive Officer of Securian Canada. “At Securian Canada, we believe that a company’s people are critical to shaping meaningful culture, and we look forward to continuing to embed the principles of belonging and inclusion into everything we do. We are honoured to be working with CABIP to continue accelerating this work beyond our own offices and into the industry at large, by leveraging our collective knowledge and resources to support Black professionals throughout their careers.”

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Securian Canada to accelerate the representation, inclusion and advancement of Black insurance professionals across the country,” said Marc-André Misat, Director, Sponsorship & Partnership of CABIP. “Together, we will work to identify and address the barriers that limit Black professionals from accessing opportunities and advancing their professional development. We are thrilled to be coming together to create a more inclusive industry that provides equitable opportunities for all.”
